Terms of Use

Ceniq is an app for keeping track of your shopping: receipt recognition, price memory, a shared circle, lists and expense splitting. The core features are currently free. A paid Pro plan may appear later — we’ll let you know in advance, and free features won’t disappear without notice.

• You need a Google account to sign in. You must be at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping access to it secure.

• Receipts, photos, prices and reviews belong to you. You give us the right to store and process them to run the service — including showing prices from your receipts to other people anonymously (unless you turn it off) and showing your product ratings.
• Don’t upload what you have no rights to, or other people’s personal data without need.
• Don’t make up prices or products: the shared database is useful only while it’s true.

Receipt recognition and exchange rates can be wrong. Check the amounts before saving. Price comparison is a hint based on prices people have shared, not a guarantee of the price in the shop.

• Interfere with the service, get around its limits or collect data in bulk.
• Use Ceniq for illegal activities or post offensive content in reviews.

If you break these rules, we may restrict or block your account.

The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running smoothly and your data safe, but we are not liable for indirect losses. This does not limit the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

You can delete your account in your profile at any time. We may stop providing the service with at least 30 days’ notice, so you have time to export your data.
